Loneliness (Clogyrnach)

the musings of an overactive mind

Loneliness (Clogyrnach)

Loneliness knocking at my door,
It doesn’t live here anymore.
Elsewhere it resides,
Still I hear its cries.
When it sighs,
…I ignore

Your poetry is still heartbreakingly beautiful

  2. kingmidget says:

    Loneliness in a crowded space
    Gatherings, noise, no quiet place
    Rooms full of people
    My senses will dull
    Mindful mull
    Peace I chase

Not exactly where I meant to head with this, but it is what it is.

Poems often have a mind of their own 🙂 you have such a wonderful way of painting a picture with your poems. I feel pulled in and immersed in the environment of the poem. This is a great example of this poetry form!!

I didn’t feel like this one flowed as well as the last few. I also didn’t go with the “feeling” of loneliness I originally intended. I had a thought for a much more profound concept, just couldn’t pull it off.

Well this one really spoke to me. But I do understand how frustrating it is when you have an idea in your mind that just just doesn’t seem to land on the page properly :(. This form can also make it a bit harder. It is more regulated than some of the others I have posted.

If this double posts, my apologies.
