Friendships come and go.
Fleeting moments of closeness,
then separation.
Yet, some blossom in your heart.
A lifelong fragrance of love.

Staci!!!! How are you? Does this mean you are back? I have missed your art and poetry. Oh, itโ€™s Kirsten by the way ๐Ÿ™‚ and thank you!

      1. OMG ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Kirsten, so great to see you. Love the new blog design. Want to do one for me? Just jk. Hahaha. Actually, I am coming back, but Iโ€™m starting a video channel which Iโ€™ll incorporate into and make together with the blog.
Oh Iโ€™m so glad itโ€™s you. We have to talk sometime. Iโ€™m moving to Canada. Big changes coming up.
        Blessings ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’•

HAPPY BIRTHDAY sweet friend! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•. So glad to hear that you are coming back! What kind of videos? I like your idea of coming a video channel with your blog.

Canada!!! Girl you get to go everywhere! Yes we will definitely have to talk soon. Change can be such an amazing opportunity! Blessings ๐Ÿ’•โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’•

      3. Like quick videos about different topics based on my worldview. Oftentimes Iโ€™ll share things I create, just like on the blog but other times somewhat of a devotional.

Haha, yea, Iโ€™m finally returning to Canada after 17 years away. Also going to put the kids in school after 4 years of homeschooling. My aspie really needs to learn how to be in a school situation.

        Thanks for the bday greetings.

Any chance youโ€™d ever come out to Vancouver? ๐Ÿ˜†

Oh that sounds so cool about your videos and devotions! I look forward to them.

Canada sounds like it will be exciting. I will be praying for the kids and school. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

And yes, I would actually consider coming to Vancouver. I want to do some photography up there ๐Ÿ™‚

Awesome! I always look forward to seeing what you will come up from the photo or the poetry form! Great loving message in this too.

I have a doozy of a form coming up. Well, itโ€™s not really that bad itโ€™s just a new one for me and I had to think! Lol

      1. When I first saw the picture, I didn’t think I was going to have anything, but then it just spilled out in a matter of seconds. I wish writing was like that. ๐Ÿ™‚

      2. Kira says:

Ahhh, but the thing is you are writing. Even though it is a different kind of writing. I am hoping that these poems will trigger you to write piece of flash fiction. 500 words or less. And then after couple of those you will be triggered to write a short story. See the pattern?!? ๐Ÿ™‚

The good news is that you are writing! Even if it is shorter and different! I am having to recognize that with my art. What I am creating is different than my normal, but it is still me creating art. So, I am trying to embrace that and see where it leads me!

      3. Oh, I know. And that’s why I appreciate your prompts, which pull something out of me that I don’t typically get elsewhere. I think part of it is that the poetry forms are … relatively easy for me. Not too complicated, typically don’t require rhymes, and the pictures have sparked something in me.

As for flash fiction … I’d like to do that, but these days when an idea strikes it typically takes thousands of words to finish. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well, off to work … sigh. Ugh. Yippee!!!

      4. Kira says:

Lol…I need to head off too. Have a good day at work.

I am going to post a flash fiction writing prompt in the near future (have to write mine first). So maybe it will spark something too ๐Ÿ™‚ and 1000 words is fine. Guidelines are meant to be broken!

    1. Kira says:

Thank you! Yes it is. I have many friends come and go as they move from here, but I am blessed to have a group of friends from my childhood.
