The train entered the bowels of the tunnel plunging her car into pitch black. She sent a mind ping into the inky void. Nothing. No return ping. She had not been followed.

Suddenly her skin began to tingle forcing the hairs on her arm to upright attention. The dark space in front of her folded over into itself. He was coming for her…

Narrative:  I have always enjoyed this microfiction challenge that Rochelle posts over on her site.  It has been a long time since I’ve been able to participate.  So, I was happy that I could this week!  And yes, I know it’s not Friday, but she hasn’t posted a new prompt yet 🙂  The rules are simple.  Create a story (with beginning, middle, and end) in 100 words or less from the photo prompt given.  Then post a link to your writing on Mr. Linky (blue frog) on her website.  And take some time to read and enjoy other’s writings who participated in the prompt.

For more prompts and challenges click here to see the calendar I’ve created.  I will add more as I come across them.
